Mother's Day Table Décor | Blue Hydrangea Centerpiece | Brunch Table Décor

Mother's Day Brunches can be great fun.  A few simple touches will make the brunch elegant and the guests of honor feel special.

Table Décor/Place Setting: For Mother's Day, put our your finest china, crystal and flatware.  Yes, this means hand-washing, but after all the diapers your mom changed over the years, doesn't she deserve your best?  Show your mom and the other cherished women in your life that they're important.  Using your best tableware will make your brunch feel special and elegant.

For table linens, I recommend using pretty placemats and fabric napkins.  Your fine dinnerware will make the brunch elegant, but you don't want it to feel too formal.  Using placements will help maintain a brunch look and feel.

Centerpiece: A brunch deserves a beautiful, yet simple centerpiece.  Using garden flowers, such as hydrangea, is always a nice choice.  Place them in a pretty urn for a polished look and you're done.

Place Cards: Place cards are a nice touch for any party, including a brunch.  They don't have to be fancy.  It can be a simple as finding a complimentary colored paper and writing the names in cursive. I designed the place cards to match the placemat and napkins.  Click here for the template.

Party Gifts for Mom: A nice gesture for all the moms attending is to give them mini-flower arrangements.  Arrange cut flowers in a small vase and place on the plate.

Stand place card against the flower arrangement to finalize the table setting.
